| The Lord's Church
in Every Village, and a Bible in Every Hut |
There were one hundred seventeen
baptisms in 2008. The Sand Creek Church building and preacher's house,
and the Parisha Church building were completed. Also construction was
started on the Church building and preacher's house in Aishlton.
The church at Hillview helps support the
ongoing mission work in the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Below are
some items of interest about the country and the work that is being done
by our brethren. |

The
shaded area on the map at the left shows the country of Guyana (proper
name: Co-operative Republic of Guyana) and its proximity to other South
American Countries.
Its main language is English, so this is a blessing to gospel preachers
who travel from the United States to teach the citizens of that land.
