We as Christians have a duty to uplift others. We need
to be a positive example towards other Christians and especially to
those outside the body of Christ (or the lost). In most cases people do
not even realize they are lost or why they are not happy.
Often people have an emptiness inside that only the
true knowledge of salvation can fulfill. If we do not show others how
happy a Christian can be, then what will motivate someone to become a
member of Christ’s church. We need to strengthen those that are involved
in church activities and be an example to those that are not.
When we fail to find opportunities to lead someone to
Christ or be an encouragement these actions hurt the church and by
hurting the church we hurt Christ.
As Christians we are a special people. Special people
love, care, pray and help each other unconditionally because we have a
special savior and he has done so much for us.
"But
you are
a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own
special people,
that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;"
