A Closer Walk Everyone on earth hurts in some way. Suffering is a part of life. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27

Proper Attitude Toward Our Government While God has not told me specifically how to vote, or who to vote for, He does tell me specifically how I am to treat the rulers who have been elected, including those I do not necessarily want, vote for, or approve of. I will observe what God has instructed me to do. And what is that? I am to pay. I am to pray. I will be careful what I say

Helps when Facing Temptation Life offers many good things. However, in the midst of this wonderful life we are confronted with the problem of temptation. From the beginning, God allowed the devil to put temptations in the paths of men. This was allowed “for our good”. Actually trials and temptations bring out the best, or the worse, in us depending on how we react.

The Firm Foundation of God This age is little different from others that have come and gone. To be sure the specific details are different, but so far as problems are concerned, and changes taking places with regard to the preceding generation or age, it is no different.

Membership in a Local Church A very few, who "stand fast in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel" (Philippians 1:27), will be a mighty force for good.
